Two new videos in my Youtube Channel: Workshops

I’ve added two new videos in my Youtube Channel from the course “Introduction to biomechanical computer simulation: Digital Modelling and Finite Element Analysis Applied to Biosciences” by Jordi Marcé-Nogué (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) and Josep Fortuny (Institut Català de Paleontologia) and organized by Transmitting Science: http://www.transmittingscience.org/courses/funct-morph/fea_en/

The videos ar two tutorials about a Finite Element Analysis of an alligator jaw: 1) Setting the muscular insertion areas in ansys workbench 15.0 and 2) Creation of the fea model using ansys workbench 15.0. This model is following the model proposed by Porro, L. B., Holliday, C. M., Anapol, F., Ontiveros, L. C., & Ross, C. F. (2011). Free body analysis, beam mechanics, and finite element modeling of the mandible of Alligator mississippiensis. Journal of Morphology, 272(8), 910–37. doi:10.1002/jmor.10957
